  • Gifts in-Kind

    Gifts in-kind involve the donation of property, goods or services in lieu of cash. Benefits of making a gift in-kind:

    • Receive a tax receipt for the appraised fair market value determined the day the gift is made

    • Claim charitable donations up to 75 per cent of your net income, plus claim 25 per cent of the taxable capital gain resulting from a gift of appreciated capital property. A five-year carry-forward on unused donation amounts is permitted

  • • Employer Matching Gifts

  Does doubling or even tripling your donation to Merry Go Round Children’s Foundation — at no cost to you — sound appealing?

  More than 8,000 Canadian and American companies offer Matching Gift programs to their current and retired employees, employee’s spouses, as well as directors or board members. These companies will send a donation to match, double or even triple the amount an employee gives to their charitable organization of choice.

  In order to have your donation matched, please contact your Human Resources Department to request a Matching Gift form and instructions regarding your employer’s Matching Gifts process. After you complete your Matching Gift form, please send it to:
