SNAP Toronto North attended Inspiration 2010 and of course they brought their camera.
When you visit the link (click on picture to right or click here) you'll see why SNAP is such a popular newspaper and website. Their photographers do a tremendous job of capturing the fun and spirit of the events they cover. This is community coverage at its best.
Thanks SNAP for coming out to the event and helping us celebrate the success of these Grade 7 students.
Inspiration 2010 is a celebration of completing the first year of the Kids, Cops & Computers program. Students from all the participating schools met at the Toronto Celebration Church to listen to speakers, accept awards and enjoy some sandwiches from Shopsy's and pizza from Pizza Nova.
Rotary Club of York Lends a Hand
Rotary Club of York has committed to purchase 6 computers, monitors and printers for the Kids, Cops & Computers program.
Rotary Club of York is one of the first ethnic clubs, with mostly Asian members, in Rotary District 7070. Since its inception, this Club has not only impressed the district 7070 executives and other fellow clubs but also listened to its community‘s needs and has been serving and will be supporting its community.
We are deeply indebted to the Rotary Club of York for their generous support which will fund computers for the 2010-2011 year at Fairbanks Middle School. Click here to read the story on the Rotary website.

They caught Toronto Police Service Chief William Blair talking about the Kids, Cops & Computers program. G.
