The night of the launch on Wednesday, June 23rd was a busy one at Brookview Middle School! The school graduation dance was in full swing, providing great music when Merry Go Round Children’s Foundation staff arrived and set up in the staff room.

Students and parents arrived at 5:30PM and were provided with a delicious pizza dinner generously provided by Pizza Nova. The drinks went quickly as it was a hot summer evening!

Vice-principal Mark Babiy spoke with the group about Internet safety and gave the good advice to keep the computer in a public space and personal information private.

Merry Go Round Children’s Foundation staff members (Sony and Heather), addressed the group and covered topics such as the foundation’s history, why the students were selected and explained how students can earn ownership of their computers using the E.A.R.N. requirements: email your eBuddy; send us two Assignments; send us all of your Report cards; provide us with any New information (email address, home address, phone number, school…)
